The January 2010 The Climate Project.org newsletter mentions Looptworks Co-founder Scott Hamlin and his recient appearance on the panel of Sustainable Industry Pioneers with Al Gore. The article goes on to talk about the Looptworks upcycling process,  the article states: “LooptWorks partners with factories to acquire textiles that were either excessively produced or rejected due to creative decisions.” It is an honor for our company to be mentioned by The Climate Project Newsletter! Yesterday’s discussion was a wonderful success! Both Al Gore and Bill Bradbury praised Oregon’s efforts toward sustainability. Included on the panel were:

CALL TO ACTION! If you had one question for Al Gore ….

As you may know, our co-founder Scott Hamlin will have the opportunity to chat with the Nobel Laureate and previous Vice President Al Gore this Thursday morning (November 19th). He has been asked to prepare one question to be asked in front of the public audience. We are asking YOU fan’s and friends, what one question would you ask Mr. Gore? Please submit your question below and Scott will personally deliver all the questions submitted, (printed on excess paper of course), to both Bill Bradbury and Al Gore.  Please submit your questions in the comments section of this post and pass it on to all your friends. Again the event begins at 10am Thursday November 19th. We will end the collection of questions at 8:00am on the 19th, TOMORROW. Come on Looptworks Fans, let your voice be heard. Tune in tomorrow evening to hear what question Scott did ask Mr. Gore and Mr. Bradbury and see what answer he received. If you are in Portland, come support Looptworks at the event.
