350 Portland, Oregon

350.org is an international campaign designed to bring awareness to the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. Scientist have identified 350 parts per million (ppm) as the safe upper limit for humanity. We are currently at 387 ppm so need to join efforts to reduce that amount. Around the globe teams are organizing their own action to support this effort. For example, a team in Portland, OR are paddling their kayaks to the middle of the river and forming a large 350. You can form your own event or join one in your town. Please visit 350.org for more information.
