We teamed up with Portland, OR-based company Cycle Dog to create an adorably practical line of dog gear upcycled from excess materials and recycled bicycle tire tubes. Since 2009, Cycle Dog has reclaimed hundreds of thousands of discarded inner tube rubber that would otherwise be thrown away to create their innovative gear for dogs.

Cycle Dog’s founder Lanette Fidrych began her dog gear journey by collecting used bike tubes from Portland area bike shops and learning to sew them at home. After many R&D sessions, she created Cycle Dog’s iconic inner tube-backed dog collar. More than just eco-friendly, the rubber backing is anti-bacterial, meaning collars and dog gear will never get stinky — even in the wettest conditions in the Pacific Northwest.
