Project LUV Seat: Turning Airline Seats Into Sturdy and Fashionable Bags

Portland company Looptworks has partnered with Southwest Airlines to create limited edition bags made out of airline seats. Earlier this year Southwest Airlines redesigned their cabins with more lightweight material, in order to save fuel. The airline replaced more than 80,000 leather seat covers with new ones, which left acres of leather just headed to landfills.
